Voice Control in the Ford Explorer

You don't have to remove your hands from the wheel to take control of your technology. The new Ford Explorer is available at Sheehy Ford of Ashland with voice recognition software built right in. The popular three-row SUV lets you stay connected and in control wherever you go.

Drivers will love the SYNC 3 system. It features a large touch screen display, a beautifully designed user interface, and plenty of built-in applications that can assist you on your drive. It also has the ability to connect to smartphones. Once connected, you can make calls and send texts without ever looking at the screen.

Microphones are built into the cabin of the Explorer. They're installed discretely. While you may not see them, they're very powerful. They can pick up your voice clearly. A button on the steering wheel initiates the voice recognition software. From there, you can tell the system to change radio stations, find directions to your destination, and make calls.
